On Monday, the court learned phone records and information obtained from phones logged Ms Wandelt persistently requesting Madeleine's mother for a genetic test throughout that period.

Madeleine's vanishing in 2007 - at the age of three during a trip in Portugal - is considered the most covered child disappearance cases and is still unsolved.

'I Don't Want Money'

A separate phone message, presented in court, documented Ms Wandelt stating: "I realize I'm fat and unattractive like Madeleine used to be, but I believe what I believe."

While a separate message of Ms Wandelt's one-way conversations with Mrs McCann's voicemail stated: "Suppose there is a tiny probability that I'm her? What happens next? Wouldn't that be important for you?"

"I do not need money, I maintain a life here in Poland, I only wish to discover," the message continued.

The jury was told that through emails, mobile messages and calls, Ms Wandelt asked for a biological test, sent youth pictures to her phone in a effort to display a likeness to Mrs McCann's disappeared daughter, and claimed to have "recollections" from a childhood with the McCanns.

The investigator, an intelligence analyst with law enforcement who gathered the information, told the court there "showed no any replies" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt also reached out to close associates of the McCanns, as per the call data.

On that date, Mr McCann answered a call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, declaring she had "the wrong phone."

That day Ms Wandelt deposited a voicemail on Mrs McCann's voicemail stating "I will continue and I will prove my position."

The court was informed Mrs Spragg struck up a association online with Ms Wandelt before accompanying her on a visit to the McCanns' property in the county in last December.

Call logs revealed Mrs Spragg had reached out via communication app to Mrs McCann to express the press had depicted Ms Wandelt as "emotionally disturbed" but that she ought to be considered genuine in the period before the visit to the village, that area, in December 2024.

The court heard message exchanges between the two individuals, in last November, considering attempting to obtain Mrs McCann's biological evidence from her bins or from cutlery at a restaurant.

"We have to make a stand," the co-defendant told Ms Wandelt.

On the evening of the visit to their home, Mrs Spragg dispatched a text which expressed: "We find ourselves sitting near the McCanns' residence with our vehicle dark similar to private investigators. I wanted to achieve this with someone else I hadn't anticipated I would be doing that with the McCanns."

The case continues.
